[FIXED!] iOS 17/18 iPhone Stuck on Verifying Update

ios 17 cut me off from my mobile data completely until i update.. but when i try update it just sits there verifying for literally hours... fucking stupidly unreliable software...

@@stevensaldnha7895i just got another iPhone from Walmart that supports my carrier and put my old SIM card in it and it works fine but the best thing to do is download iTunes on ur computer and plug ur iPhone to it and update ur phone with the computer I couldn’t get a computer so I just got another iPhone for $300 for a backup phone

deleting and reinstalling the update worked 🙏🏻🙏🏻 it was not letting my coverage connect without an update. extremely dysfunctional for something that I paid a lot to work correctly

if your having trouble force restarting and it tries to call emergency services try pressing the volume up button and down button then let go and quickly hold the off button untill the apple logo appears

First press volume up button release it
then volume down button release it
Third step hold power button for 10 seconds and it will restart ☺️♥️

Press the volume button up and down and only hold the power button until theapple logo pops up

My iphone got stuck for hours in verifying update and when I tried to use the generic "hold both power and volume buttons" it called 911!!! Hopefully you showed me how to use the force restart to cancel the update, then how to delete the update. You saved me! Thanks!!!

THE ANSWER IS: IN THIS EXACT SEQUENCE, VOLUME UP BUTTON, VOLUME DOWN BUTTON, HOLD POWER BUTTON UNTIL SHUTDOWN

didn't work. I can get a shit down slider but no matter how long I hold down the two shut down buttons, it just sticks with "Verifying Update". Next!

Maks sure you’re only pressing the power after you push volume up and down , make sure you don’t push both only the power u hold at the end
